Beside the museum are stabled our personal horses and ponies used for riding and driving, we do not, as yet, have a camel.However, when on holiday in Tunisia, North Africa last year we went on a camel ride and asked if we could have part of its harness to go in the museum. The groom immediately donated this muzzle which is made from hand woven rope.
They are worn by most of the camels in the tourist trade and represent yet another facet of bridle making.
